On your way, you will leave behind wild beaches, small fishing villages and breathtaking cliffs. You will be able to enjoy spectacular views and the gastronomy of this area, linked to the sea.

Day 1:

Check in the first accommodation

Day 2: Arou – Camariñas (26 Km)

This stage is undoubtedly one of the most iconic of the whole trail. The walk approaching Faro Vilán is the favorite of the majority of the locals.
Moreover, you will get familiar with the story of the wreck of the British ship, the Serpent, the English Cemetery… a magical place, full of stories and legends.

Day 3: Camariñas – Muxía (32 Km)

The path that links Camariñas and Muxia is quite long (32 km), but it will take you over 11 beaches, rural hamlets, forests and watermills.
The walk ends up in Muxia, a lovely fishing village that was sadly hit, a few years ago, by the Prestige oil tanker disaster.
We recommend you to go to the Tourist Office, and ask for the Muxiana!

Day 4: Muxía – Nemiña (24 Km)

Today the path will take you to the most Occidental point of Spain, Cabo Touriñán (and not Finisterre, as most of the people think). Do not forget to ask the locals about this if you wish to start a conversation with them, as they love to talk and talk about it!
You will finish in Nemiña beach, where you will be able to go for a quick swim before you head off.

Day 5: Nemiña – Finisterre (26 Km)

Finally, the last day of the Lighthouse Trail will take you to one of the most popular places of Galicia, Finisterre.
It is a long walk, so we recommend you to be ready for the last effort. But of course, the scenery from Monte Facho, or the sunset from the Finisterre Lighthouse will be just reward.

Day 6:

Check out Finisterre
