We would recommend you bring comfortable clothes, and walking shoes (boots, shoes or even walking sandals in summer season).
It is just a recommendation, as we understand clothing is quite personal and you may see other walkers wearing trainers or other kind of shoes.
Any person with a reasonable level of fitness will be able to walk the Camino. It is not a professional competition; each Pilgrim will walk at its own speed. If you feel walking days are too long, you can split some of them.
If you are not used to walking, we recommend you train a bit the month before your trip.
The Pilgrim Passport is the document that will allow you to request your “Compostela” (Camino Certificate) when you arrive in Santiago.
You will need to get 2 stamps every walking day: the first one when you begin walking, and the other one when you arrive at your destination.
There are many places where you can get the stamps: hotels, coffee shops, restaurants, churches, Tourism Offices… Many Pilgrims like to collect more than 2 stamps each day, as a sort of “memento” of their journey.
Once you arrive in Santiago, you will need to go to the Pilgrim Office to request your Compostela.
Half Board includes breakfast and dinner.

Usually there is no problem at all, hotels are used to adapting their meals to vegetarians, vegans and lactose intolerants. Please let us know when you book your trip so we can inform them in advance.
Your “Travel Kit” includes all the relevant information about your trip: your vouchers, addresses, contact details, etc.
