Join the Rias Baixas Day trip and discover the best of Galicia region

We will take you to visit the land of the Albariño wine, the estuaries, the gastronomy and its picturesque fishing villages.

At 9:00 / 9:30 we will pick you up at your accommodation in Santiago, and we will drive you to the Barosa Natural Park, where you will be able to take pictures of the watermills and the cascades.

We will also stop in one of the most beautiful villages of Spain, Combarro, which is right on the shore of the Estuary of Pontevedra. It is also very popular because of its granaries.

Our next destination will be A Toxa Island, known for the famous soap, the hot springs and the chapel covered in seashells. We will go on a cruise along the estuary, where you will be able to try the local mussels and some Albariño wine. In the same area, we will stop at A Lanzada Beach.

As you know, winemaking is very important in this area, so we can not leave without visiting Cambados area, the capital city of the Albariño wine, and the wineries around.

Please note that this the itinerary can experience slight modifications, depending on the weather conditions, timetables, and preferences of the group.

Santiago de Compostela

Departure by bus at 9:10 am

Pontevedra

Visiting the old town of Pontevedra allow us to discover one of the best preserved historic centers of Galicia. Founded in Roman times and main engine of the region for centuries make this city a must stop. We will visit the ruins of Santo Domingo, the church of the Peregrina, squares Firewood, Verdura and Ironworks in addition to a tour of the most interesting streets and corners of the monumental area.

Combarro

visit this picturesque and original town of the Rias Baixas. perfect example of popular architecture which highlights the abundance of granaries and stone crosses. Enjoy a boat ride on the river with a visit to the mussel rafts and the island of Tambo, to taste mussels and wine on board. Free time for lunch.

Playa A Lanzada

located in the town of O Grove, is one of the most famous beaches in Galicia. Its fine sand, its 2.5km length of open water and water quality make it worthy year after year the Blue Flag.

Cambados

visit the Plaza de Fefiñanes, beautiful space full of charm consisting of the Manor of the seventeenth century that gives it its name, the arch-bridge, the church of San Benito and a group of houses of popular architecture.

Arriving in Santiago at 19:00 approx.

Perfecta para tener un Buen Camino Muy buena experiencia, nos organizaron el camino francés desde Sarria tal y como les pedimos saliendo todo perfecto y según lo esperado.

Destacar que fuimos con un bebé y en todo alojamiento contamos con cuna tal y como habíamos pedido.

Sin duda, para repetir experiencia.

experiencia muy positiva Hice el camino frances desde sarria, todo muy bien organizado, a media pension,
tanto hoteles y pensiones bastante correctas.
algunos de ellos tenian restaurante, y desde luego es una ventaja, ya que al termino de la etapa del dia podias comer alli,
y sino te hacen un vale para comer muy cerca del alojamiento.
desde luego muy recomendable.
