The Galiwonders team will be at the Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow
We will be traveling to Scotland with the Galician Cluster of Tourism, as part of an internationalization mission to promote our region.
Glasgow will be the scene for this international festival during one more year. Celtic music will be the nexus between our region and other countries which share this common heritage.
What is the Celtic Connections Festival?
The main idea of this festival is collaboration: strengthening and promoting this cultural links, by creating this “collaborative atmosphere”. Spontaneous concerts, camaraderie, etc.
The festival as been growing and growing since its first edition in 1994, and attracting the international attention.
Which activities will take place?
We will be traveling to Glasgow next 31st of January (Thursday) and will be there until the 3rd of February (Sunday). We are part of the commercial mission organized by the Cluster of Tourism of Galicia region. Galicia is a Celtic region, and this common heritage connects us with our cousins from Scotland 🙂
Ten companies from the Galician tourism sector will take part on this international trip.
We will participate on the following events:
-18:00: Workshop between Galician and Scottish tourism companies (Beer Hall of the Drygate Brewery)
-19:45: tapas & networking
-20:15: Galician Fiesta at the Event Space
